Sizing

Here are the standard sizes of our products. If you didn’t find a suitable size or you need personalized some part of item (for example, make a browband loose and etc.) – just write it in the comments of your order. We can make made-to measure size for no extra cost. If you have any question, please, write us.

Classic dog collars

All dogs are different and vary in their size. Here is a general guideline to fit your dog appropriately for a dog collar. For a proper fit, measure your dog’s neck with a cloth seamstress tape measure.

– Pull the tape snug but not tight where the collar would normally sit;
– Add 3-4 cm (1,5 – 2″) to this length. It is your dogs neck size.
– Choose the size, where this length is approximately in the middle hole of the collar.

If you need custom size. Measure your dog’s neck, add 3-4 cm. And write in the comments to the order: “I need a collar [the resulting length] to the middle hole.”

For example, your dog’s neck circumference is 33 cm. Add another 4 cm. 37 cm is approximately the middle hole in a size S collar. This means you need size S. If your dog is still growing or covered with thick fur in winter, choose a size where the desired length is closer to the first hole.

NOTE! For thick collars like Lorca, Ronda, Aragon, add 6cm to your dog’s neck circumference to find the right size!

Martingale collar

– Pull the tape snug but not tight  where the collar would normally sit, add 3-4 cm (1,5 – 2″) to this length;
– Now you need to measure a head size. Measure he widest area of your dog’s head. Usually just in front or behind its ears. Add 3-4 cm (1,5 – 2″) to this length;

A correctly selected martingale collar must be able to slip over the dog’s head, but not slip back over when the small ring is taught. So choose the smallest collar size (B) that will slip over the largest part of the head.

If you need custom size. Measure your dog as it is written above and write is what total length (B) you want. We recommend use the length of your dog’s head in the widest part plus 5-6 cm, so the collar will slide easily over your dog head. You can also specify the length “C” separately if you want to change it. By default, for custom size collars, it will be 10cm.

NOTE! For thick collars like Foxhound add 6cm to your dog’s neck and head circumference to find the right size!

Leads and lead coupler

Leads:

S – 1m
M – 1.5m

The wide of the straps is 1.8cm.

Lead coupler:

One size: from 35cm to 75cm

The wide of the straps is 1.8cm.

Harnesses

Leather dog harness Lazypony.  Straps are 2,5 cm wide. 

Lazypony Classic Leather Dog Harness.  Straps are 2 cm wide. 

Lazypony Y Shape Leather Dog Harness. Strap width is approx. 1,8cm.

Horse bridles

“Last hole” – the hole closest to the end (“tail”) of the strap; the loosest possible adjustment.
“Middle hole” – the one in the middle, with holes both before and after it.

Please allow some room for adjustment, do not choose a size that fits your horse only on the last hole!
